Independent Cultural Creative Entrepreneurs

Temple Bar Cultural Trust made a submission to the European Comission in July in response to the EU Green Paper on the cultural and creative industries.

Our submission was made on behalf of a 'cultural coalition' of over 50 individuals and organisations working in the sector, including The Digital Hub, Design Business Ireland, Project Arts Centre, Science Gallery and Business to Arts.

We made this submission because we believe that Arts and Culture must be seen as a resource for creativity by policymakers, and be given greater prominence in the broader policies on the Knowledge Economy, innovation and social cohesion.

The cultural coalition behind this submission will meet in September to formalise this network.
